Why do I need an end of tenancy cleaner?
An end of tenancy clean is required to ensure a property is returned to the landlord in the same condition as it was when the tenant moved in.
An inventory check will then be undertaken following the clean to determine if the deposit will be returned to the tenant. Most landlords require a professional cleaning service.
What is included in an end of tenancy clean?
We can clean all aspects of the house from high and low dusting/cleaning, inside cupboards, draws etc.
We can tackle any limescale removal in bathrooms and degreasing if required in the kitchen. Essentially anything that is required to get ready for an inventory check. We can also include oven, carpets and windows.
What is the difference between deep clean and end of tenancy?
The level of cleaning is generally the same but the important difference is to ensure the inventory is followed in detail to pass the check out inspection.
Do you clean walls?
Yes we clean walls, paintwork, door frames and skirting boards.
Is a deposit required to book an end of tenancy clean?
We normally ask for a 50% deposit due on booking the end of tenancy clean and the remainder to be paid on completion of the clean.
Do I need to be at the property during the clean?
No you do not need to be at the property during the clean as long as we have been given access instructions. It is easier for the cleaning teams if the property is completely empty for us to carry out our work safely.
Is window cleaning included?
Window cleaning can be included in an end of tenancy on request and we can clean internal and external windows, Velux, skylights and conservatories.
Does the quote include carpet cleaning, or only vacuum?
The quote for an end of tenancy normally refers to a full thorough vacuum of a property. We can however arrange carpet deep cleaning or hard floor deep cleaning on request as required.
